Comparison FAQ
What is the main difference?
Traditional password managers save protected copies of your passwords. MoolKey creates a generated password when you need it and does not save that result.
Can MoolKey see or save my passwords?
No. MoolKey does not send your Master Key, generated passwords, or PINs to its servers.
Can MoolKey fully replace 1Password or Bitwarden?
It can replace them for creating passwords and PINs. MoolKey does not fill forms for you, store secure notes, or restore a forgotten private phrase. If those features matter, a traditional manager may fit better.
What happens if MoolKey has a company data breach?
Your passwords are not part of the saved account data, so an attacker cannot take a saved list of them from MoolKey.
